Adrian Lux - Damaged (Official Video)

As he gears up for his sophomore full-length album release on Ultra Music, Adrian Lux hooks up with director and former pro skateboarder Travis Kopach on the visuals for his new single “Damaged”.

he video follows a group of skate boarders in the heart of New York City. In the beginning, Adrian describes his love of skateboarding and how it has influenced him and his work. How the 2 cultures are all part of him – skateboarding and dance music. While the video doesn’t really have anything to do with the song, it is just cool to watch something as skateboarding being highlighted in dance music, and vice versa.

In true Lux fashion, “Damaged” is another standout tune amongst the gaggle of electronic dance music tracks featuring bittersweet female vocals, this time courtesy of Swedish indie diva Alva Tang and post-punk guitar ala The Cure, courtesy of Nico Malmstedt. The song glides on ethereal harmonies, heavenly production that drive the song’s infectious hook into one momentous, neat, sexy, sleek package with massive multi -genre cross over appeal.

The Toxic Avenger - Romance & Cigarettes, feat. José Reis Fontao (Official Video)

French DJ and producer Simon Delacroix, better known as The Toxic Avenger, produces music that speaks to the darkest depths of the imagination. His new single “Romance & Cigarettes” is a deliciously dark electro collaboration with Anglo-French singer José Reis Fontao.

The visuals, of course, mimic the veiled frenzy of the song. At the start, the synthesized strings gradually build to collapse into a howling, popping chorus; at the same time, the delinquents of the music video gear up, in slow-motion, as they enter a supermarket, only to speed down the aisles in rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, and shopping carts—and then once again find themselves caught within the camera’s slow-motion. The visual effect mimics the supporting song, whose sound gets fuller and more exciting while the tempo remains stagnant, just as the kids in the video perform motion-intensive actions in slow-motion.

The video, directed by Stephané Benini, and the song, produced by (real name) Simon Delacroix, play off each other, just as a music video should.

The Toxic Avenger’s full-length sophomore album, which bears the same name of its single, is to be released October 8.

Showtek - Slow Down (Official Video)

Showtek is on fire right now with their latest release off of Dim Mak Records. It was the 2-track release of ‘Crunk‘ and ‘Slow Down‘, each of which had a different style and different energy but still got the party going.

Lockah x Taste Tester - Higher (Official Video)

We just saw a nutty video from Phonat "Ride The Prejudice" a few weeks ago that utilized animated rotating image in Cinema 4D. But this one is a bit more psychedelic, and is backed by an incredibly uplifting beat from Lockah and Taste Tester.

This video is for the lead single on their collaborative Higher Learning EP, which also features remixes DJ DJ Booth and Slick Shoota. These guys are all leading the wave in bass music right now, and are blowing my mind every time they put their hands on anything.

Simona Nae feat. Juju - Doi nebuni (Official Video)

Ummet Ozcan - The Cube (Official Music Video) (Available July 22)

In a deep corner of the mind The Cube rules. It's the place where dark thoughts roam and mania is rewarded. It's where pure thoughts get compromised and turned into acts of insanity. Where your free mind might get locked up, if you don't live life to the fullest.

The Bloody Beetroots feat. Paul McCartney and Youth - Out of Sight (Official Video)

The music video for “Out of Sight,” the most recent single from progressive house hero(s) The Bloody Beetroots, dropped on MTV. Featuring the legendary Paul McCartney and Killing Joke bassist Martin “Youth” Glover, the video provides some epic imagery for what is already sure to be a stadium EDM hit.

“Out of Sight” is the fifth in a slow (but steady) stream of singles from Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, better known as The Bloody Beetroots. The Italian dance-punk producer has been releasing tracks from his upcoming second album since late 2011. Hide, the much anticipated followup to his 2009 debut Romborama, will finally be released on September 17th.

The video, Rifo’s second collaboration with director Charlie Lightening, features Rifo in his signature LED Venom mask orchestrating his latest auditory production in his own post-apocalyptic music studio. And yes, in case there was any question, McCartney does make an appearance.
