Last fall, up-and-coming pop singer K Rose unleashed her sassy single “Sleep When I’m Dead.”
She’s now following that up with something a bit different: “A Voi E A Me (You And I),” a bouncing, early-’90s-leaning house track, not dissimilar in vibe to Tensnake and Syron‘s “Mainline” or Katy B and Jessie Ware‘s “Aaliyah,” which we totally dig!
K. (short for Katrina) Rose is only 19, but comes with the cred of veteran hip hop producers Cool & Dre behind her. But the real solid here is the music. While “You And I” has its heart in 1991, its soul is in there here and now.
