The aptly titled El Verano EP is an 80s disco/90s R&B sample fest, giving new life to some classics from Cher, Brandy, Mariah and this special one from Aaliyah, taking their vocals and adding sunshine disco & Moroder thump in all the right places.
A favorite being the very seducing melodic Aaliyah remix of "Rock The Boat". Kind of a tip of the hat to all the big name Toronto R&B acts I don't really need to mention and another re-do in Ricky Smiley make this EP a must have for this summer's playlist.
