Holograms is a really great song by Butterclock that was first unveiled back in March and which has gotten better with every listen.
The video for Berlin babe Butterclock‘s track Holograms has just landed. Spawned from her First Prom EP the slow-burn break-up track is the second to be released by the young artist. Directed by Black Cracker, the video features an iridescent Butterclock dancing solo, with the perfect ’80s vibe for this low-key track.
Like the song, the video manages to be both neon/multicolour and hazy/lo-fi without contradicting itself, which makes it feel neither modern nor retro, but trapped in time.
