Chvrches really impressed with “Gun”, crafting that rarest of synth-pop oddities – a catchy tune that evolves and becomes richer with each listen. It’s fitting then that the visual is also a bit of a grower. At first, a nod to Amii Stewart‘s psychedelic “Knock On Wood” clip seemed an unlikely approach but it works. Quite beautifully.
