Aussie dance-pop duo Empire Of The Sun have gone all operatically ridiculous for their new album Ice On The Dune, and their new video for “DNA” gets the overblown absurdity of their whole act just right in ways that their too-serious “Alive” video couldn’t manage.
In the video, we see both band members, in full-on glammed-out space-pirate uniform, partying their way through the more desolate edges of near-future Los Angeles. Watch it below.

Alongside the single ‘DNA‘ come a remix package from Calvin Harris, Alex Metric, Brodinski and more. Using a smooth piano melody during the verse, he lets the song slowly build up until the chorus when a progression of big room synths layered masterfully kick in. ‘DNA‘ really picks up with the break because of the infectious topline, powerful chords, and the pure intensity that radiates out of the track.
