The quack is finally back. A-Trak and Armand Van Helden haven’t released an original production since 2011′s “Big Bad Wolf” and the dance music world has been patiently awaiting Duck Sauce’s inevitable return ever since.
A-Trak and Armand Van Helden once more have combined to cook up an infectious summer anthem. Never one’s to take themselves too seriously, “It’s You” is a funk-fueled, sample driven groover that jostles and scratches with 1920s barber shop quartet vibes and the duo’s classic house sensibilities.
A fun trip from start to finish, “It’s You” is a welcome change from the sounds of now — and it’s nice to have dance music’s Laurel and Hardy back in the saddle… or should we say duckbill.
