Ermal Meta and Luca Vicini first meet in a live club in Shanghai. They are both there to play with their bands. The atmosphere is full of energy. They talk and confront each other. The first band to appear onstage is Ermal's. It's the supporting band to Luca's one, the Subsonica, which is super famous in Italy. Once the Chinese tour ends, they come back to Italy and decide to give birth to something new, something made of beats and melody. Luca follows the sound, while Ermal the melodies and lyrics.
They discover and rediscover themselves still there, in a dressing room on the other side of the world with a lot of musicians that talk together surrounded by a constant wave. They decide to call it Shanghai Beat. Their debut is electro, dance and pop. Their first single is "All The Time In The World".
